The Big 1!

I know I've been absent for a few weeks... Ellie keeps me busy! She is still taking 2 naps a day, but during my free time I do house work, cook, and lately I've been planning her 1st birthday party. There is always something to get done, but lately I feel like the list is never ending. And you would never catch me on the computer when Ellie is present. We're out and about- taking walks, at the playground, play dates, errands, etc! I'm super excited for her flower themed party at a neighborhood park. The guest list includes family and her play group friends, as well as a few of our friends. Because the party is at another location I feel like the planning and preparation is a bit more difficult than if it was just at our home. We have to work with the space (a covered pavilion) for decorating. We also are dependent upon the weather (so far it looks like it will be a perfect day!). Bringing extra tables, food, drinks, etc requires extra sets of hands. I can't wait to see it all come together. Lots of party planning going on in our house!
